A calm space to feel heard, understood and supported.
I believe counselling should feel human and grounded in a genuine relationship. I offer a warm, compassionate setting where you can explore what is happening for you with openness and curiosity.
A little about me
I founded The Safe Space Counselling to provide a gentle, supportive environment for both young people and adults. Together, we can explore the parts of life that feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply too painful to put into words.
My work is grounded in compassion, respect and collaboration. Counselling is not about me telling you what to do; it is about being met as a person and supported to understand your experiences in a way that feels meaningful to you.
I have particular interests in anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, neurodiversity and the experiences of LGBTQIA+ and care-experienced people.
What guides my work
The relationship between counsellor and client is central to my practice. Compassion, inclusion and collaboration guide the way I work.
Compassionate
Your experiences are met with warmth, care and genuine understanding.
Inclusive
Your identity, background and way of experiencing the world are respected and welcomed.
Collaborative
I work collaboratively with you, shaping counselling around what matters most to you.
Qualified, compassionate support
I am a qualified integrative counsellor with experience supporting young people and adults through anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, low self-esteem and difficult life transitions. My work is informed by professional training, supervised practice and a commitment to ethical and inclusive counselling.

You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin counselling. Sometimes the first step is simply having a space where you can be honest.
A relational approach to counselling
My approach is integrative and relational, which means I draw from different counselling theories while placing the therapeutic relationship at the centre of the work. I will not tell you what to do or assume that one approach works for everyone. Instead, I will support you to explore what feels most helpful, with warmth, curiosity and honesty.
Led by you
You decide what feels important to bring. I will support you without rushing, directing or imposing an agenda.
Open and curious
I can support you to explore emotions, relationships and patterns with honesty and professional curiosity.
Adapted to you
I draw from different approaches and adapt the work to your needs, identity and way of experiencing the world.
